Lorena's story is one of resilience, love, and forgiveness. Despite the cruelty she endured, being beaten and left with scars on her face, she never lost her gentle spirit. When Lorena came into our care, we could see the pain in her eyes, but what shone even brighter was her unwavering love for people.

 

Her past trauma didn’t harden her heart—instead, it made her more affectionate. From the moment we met her, she greeted everyone with soft eyes and a wagging tail, eager to give and receive love. Lorena quickly became known as the "people person" dog, always wanting to be near someone, leaning in for comfort and connection.

 

Her sweet and gentle nature is a true testament to the resilience of dogs like her. Lorena reminds us all that, even in the face of pain, love and kindness can prevail.
